The Salteens are set to appear on Yo Gabba Gabba!, Nick Jr.’s new live-action music series for pre-schoolers. Yo Gabba Gabba! stars host DJ Lance Rock, four friendly monsters and a robot, and takes place in a magical, colourful world that looks a lot like 1980. The series highlights simple life lessons, through song with the help of guest vistors ranging from Tony Hawk to The Shins and Elijah Wood, and features beat-box lessons with Biz Markie.

Leeroy Stagger’s “Just In Case” will be featured on Grey’s Anatomy this Sunday, January 29th. The Golden Globe nominated ABC drama has featured songs by artists including Tegan and Sara, Ivy, Goldfrapp, Interpol, Annie and Wilco, among many others.

The Salteens are making a new album. Recording is taking place at The Hive which has seen such wonderful bands as: Black Mountain, Hot Hot Heat, Pink Mountaintops, S.T.R.E.E.T.S. and Destroyer.

The Family Channel’s Radio Free Roscoe Spring Break-Out Bash, an exclusive launch party being held at the legendary Commodore Ballroom, is tomorrow, at 3:00 pm.

The event will include performances by four Canadian indie bands featured on Music from RFR Volume 1, The Yoko Casionos, The Salteens and Maplewood Lane.

Being released February 25, 2005, Music from Radio Free Roscoe, Volume 1 is a music compilation featuring the best indie tunes from the show including songs by The Salteens, The Yoko Casionos, Kiddo and Reverie Sound Revue.
