He’s sandwiched the tour between visits to Bulgaria and Sweden, further ensuring his status as the envy of college backpackers the world over.

]]> It seems like Woodpigeon only just got home from their last European tour, but Mark Hamilton will be heading back over from May 9-23 for solo dates, including his first tour of Ireland all backed by a band including not one, but two ukuleles. He’s sandwiched the tour between visits to Bulgaria and Sweden, further ensuring his status as the envy of college backpackers the world over.

There will be a few Canadian dates in June and July, including NXNE and Calgary’s Sled Island, and then the band is back to Europe again to play a bunch of festivals we all wish we could go to. Busy! And somehow there’s still time for Mark to work on a split EP with Chris Smith that we will tell you more about as soon as we can.
