We have been friends with (and huge fans of) the band since the early days of Boompa, and we were more than a little upset when they broke up a few years back. Mood Swings, the new album from Small Sins, will be out September 25th. Just to tease you, the band has decided to start letting everyone hear bits of the new music… very slowly.

A new song will get posted on the band’s MySpace page every week leading up to the release. This week will be track one, a song called “I Need A Friend.” Go listen and let the band know what you think!

Sadly The Hylozoists, have had to cancel their appearance at the Shoreline Festival. Sorry PEI… They promise to come back in the fall. For those close enough, the band has picked up a show in Sackville on Saturday, July 14th in support of their friends the Wooden Stars.
